Thermal Design Engineer

• Develop thermal and mechanical designs for heat exchangers and related equipment.
• Perform calculations for heat transfer, fluid flow, and mechanical integrity.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet performance and safety requirements.
• Support manufacturing and fabrication processes with technical guidance.
• Review client requirements and provide innovative design solutions.
• Conduct stress analysis and ensure compliance with ASME and other applicable codes.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in thermal and mechanical design, preferably in heat exchanger systems.
• Active P.Eng. designation.
• Proficiency with HTRI software and proven expertise in thermal analysis & vibration.
• Structural engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASME codes and pressure vessel design standards.
• Proficiency in engineering software for thermal and mechanical analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
