Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in beautiful Saint John, New Brunswick as a Tool Crib Attendant! You would be at work on a major operating Oil & Gas plant joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal. This is a 2-month long contract, which may be extended.

*Negative Drug & Alcohol test is required*

In this very exciting role, the qualified individual will be responsible for tracking, distributing, stocking tools, supplies, equipment parts and personal protective equipment.

Job duties:

- Receives, stores and issues hand tools, machine tools, materials, and equipment in our industrial establishment.

- Maintains records of tools and equipment. Prepares and maintains inventory of tools, equipment, and requisitions of stock to replenish goods.

- Remains familiar with operation controls such as safe working practices and job hazard analysis as appropriate to specific work task.

- Follows all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs including health, safety, and environmental requirements.

- Brings technical problems encountered to the supervisor’s attention for resolution.

Qualifications:

- Tool crib experience and/or ordering experience.

- Skill with Microsoft Office and general computer applications is an asset.

- Previous experience in shipping and receiving is an asset.

- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.
