"TRS is looking for an OFFSHORE VESSEL SOFTWARE LEAD with knowledge of Rockwell & Siemens PLC Automation Programming and Troubleshooting experience to join our leading International client's JSD 6000 VESSEL based WORLDWIDE.”
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Coordinate and manage automation system on board the conventional and DP vessel, where experience and high level on automation knowledge is necessary.
- Deep knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens PLC, in programming and troubleshooting.
- Capability to follow and perform the commissioning on production machines for pipelay.
- Knowledge of IBA system and complex architecture for logging system.
- Knowledge of IOT network.
- Knowledge of Siemens environmental and Tia portal.
- Trouble shooting of mission equipment and its control system.
- Be responsible of Electrical and Electronic correct operation/maintenance ensuring the respect of HSE company procedures.
- Supervise and monitor, with full autonomy, all automation system related to the pipe/flex lay equipment, pipe handling, lifting appliances and the rest of the system connected to the production side.
- Monitor and control supervising on-board electrical/electronic equipment according with safety procedures.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma in Automation Engineering / Programming.
- Minimum 5-8 years of prior experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Valid Offshore professional and training certificates.
- Work employment certificates.
