Summary
We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded Labourer to support our shop and warehouse operations. This role assists with cleaning, organizing, equipment handling, and general maintenance activities. It’s ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, physically capable, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment. Opportunities for advancement exist for those with additional equipment certifications or prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailing and cleaning of heavy equipment, vehicles, and support equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational safety of the wash bay and surrounding shop area.
- Clean and organize parts, tools, and components to support efficient repair and maintenance activities.
- Assist in the disassembly and preparation of heavy equipment and components for maintenance or transport.
- Organize and maintain equipment and materials in the yard to ensure accessibility and readiness.
- Assist with inventory levels of shop supplies, consumables and with restocking.
- Support shop personnel by assisting with day-to-day tasks to enhance workflow and efficiency.
- Ensure all work areas meet Client’s safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in a shop/warehouse environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions
- Basic understanding of tools, cleaning equipment, and safe work practices
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Valid Class 5 Drivers’s License
- Able to provide a recent driver’s abstract upon request
- Willing and able to travel occasionally as required
- Skid Steer and/or Loader Operator certification preferred
