Water Treatment Engineer

Here is an exciting opportunity with our client, a global leader in the energy industry as a Water Treatment Engineer! You would have a chance to be an integral team member of the Energy Systems Division, providing support and solutions for project facilities. The successful candidate for this role should have expertise in the technical and economical processes related to water treatment. Subsequently, the qualified individual should be experienced in water treatment chemical injection, media filtration, membrane desalination and other required water treatment systems.

Job Duties:
- Identify technical problems, opportunities for improvement and
ways to increase revenue
- Procure and scope new projects, approve calculations and
water treatment design packages
- Mentorship through delivering training courses to junior
engineers
- Develop presentations to deliver to international audiences;
publish technical papers in water treatment engineering
discipline

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental
Engineering; Graduate degree preferred
- 10+ years of water treatment systems design experience a
background of proven excellence in an operational role is
preferred
- In depth knowledge of international regulations, codes and
standards
- Expertise in primary responsibility of water treatment systems in
the Oil and Gas Industry
- P. Eng designation, chartered engineer or equivalent
