Welder

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work for our market-leading client who is looking for a Welder on a Contract basis. You will form part of a multi discipline team that are expected to carry out various works to a high quality and safety standard.

This opportunity will provide experience working on a modern drillship for an internationally recognised oil and gas contractor.

Work Location: Offshore drilling rig, Sao Tome and Principe.

This position is open to residents of Sao Tome and Principe.

• Carry out welding, cutting, burning and associated activities as directed
• Assist team in maintenance of equipment as required
• Check, service and maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in safe working condition
• A recognised welding qualification is preferred
• Previous experience working at sea will be advantageous
• A high level of health and safety awareness is required
• Candidates will need to be able to communicate fully in English
