"TRS is urgently looking for Welding Foreman with LNG Project experience within the Oil and Gas Industry to join our International Client's Karimun Project, Indonesia."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Coordinate and control the work of the dependent team based on welding Scope of Work assigned.
• Distribute the equipment and materials to allow the team to perform the assigned activities.
• Ensure that welders and all personnel belonging to the team strictly observe applicable safety standards.
• Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with approved WPS (Welding Project Specifications) and project quality requirements.
• Analyse the WPS received from the work supervisor and give instructions to the team in order to execute the works accordingly.
• Coordinate and check the work carried out by the team, reporting any difficulties to the works supervisor.
• Organise all the means, equipment and materials necessary to perform the work. Check that they comply with applicable provisions, report any anomalies and coordinate any corrective actions.
• Liaise with the works supervisor in order to optimize the use of equipment and personnel.
• Carry out the daily toolbox talkings.
• Verify the equipment daily check list prior to start the works.
• Ensure adherence to the planned time frame.
• Provide the works supervisor with data on quantities produced for updating progress reports and quantities accounting.
• Provide the work supervisor with data on manpower, equipment, tools and material used.
• Implement the permit-to-work system.
• Liaise with other disciplines on ongoing operations.
• Ensure the housekeeping of the work location.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited bachelor’s degree / equivalent technical qualification within related field of experience.
• Minimum Five (5) plus year’s recent proven work Structural Welding experience for LNG Project within Oil & Gas Industry.
• Must have CSWIP, AWS, HNC, HND, or NVQ Certifications.
• Advanced knowledge of TIG, MIG, laser, butt, and arc welding techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
