We are currently seeking those interested in their career development in the position of Work Face Planning Lead (WFP).

Location: Poland, Nysa (on site)

Job specification: This role is for those already experienced as Superintendent or Field Supervisor (Foreman) and who are ready to advance to the next level as Workforce Planning (WFP) Lead.
You will have the opportunity for ongoing professional development as you leverage your construction experience to contribute to the development of work packages. You will play a vital role in implementing WFP on site, in alignment with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), a globally recognized best practice in the construction industry, to optimize productivity and minimize delays.

Key responsibilities:
 
  • The WFP Lead ensures that the project WFP program is being implemented across all targeted areas of the project in conjunction with the construction managers, superintendents, and Contractors WFP teams.
  • Establishes strong working relationships with Area Construction Management and Contractor WFP champions.
  • Develops the Workface Planning Implementation Plan, considering the requirements of WFP  attachment, into a cohesive WFP execution strategy across all applicable CWPs.
  • Manages IWP coordination in support of the Path of Construction, CWP Installation Sequence Plan, and Schedule.
  • Facilitates IWP scoping sessions, constraint removal sessions and IWP closeout meetings.
  • Supports assigned WFP Facilitators and Contractor WFP planners with the development and assembly of IWPs, ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency at the Workface and that the broader principles as laid out in the Workface Planning Implementation Plan and in Exhibit H are considered in the planning process.
  • Audits IWPs for completeness and compliance.
  • Reviews Contractors WFP procedures for program compliance.
  • Arranges and conducts audits against Company procedures and Contractor’s procedures throughout the project.
  • Works with 3GP construction schedulers and the Farnborough CWP coordinator to ensure that the CWP release review process is working properly.
  • Works with the Engineering organization and the constructability team to align Construction Work Packages’ (CWPs) sequence and IWPs’ sequence.
  • Ensures that the data required to build IWP packages is available and accurate.
  • Facilitates and expedites the removal of construction constraints throughout the Project.
  • Liaises with SC administrator to align automation efforts with WFP requirements.
  • Assists in the Project Controls Team to align their data management (Unit rates, milestones, quantities, and schedule) and reporting structure with the application of Workface Planning.
  • Works with construction teams / client and Contractors to help define and arrange their WFP training requirements.
  • Ensures good IWP record keeping in accordance with WFP department guidelines and procedures.
  • Contributes to lessons learned and risk review sessions on Workface Planning throughout the project.
  • Assists the WFP manager as required.
  • Works with the AWP/WFP manager to ensure sufficient WFP Facilitators are assigned to effectively cover the project WFP workload.
  • Works with the AWP/WFP manager to ensure common tracking tools are being used and that Contractors comply with WFP reporting requirements.

Job Requirements:
  • Higher Education Certification (HND, HNC, or BSc)
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience on industrial construction projects as a General Foreman, Superintendent, Field Engineer, or other construction project specialist like Work package Engineer Knowledge related to commissioning stages, requirements for individual industries, risks that may arise during the commissioning process and the possibility of risk elimination on the planning stage.
  • Knowledge of health, environment, and safety (HES) industry best practices
  • Knowledge about several construction trade disciplines or discipline specialty
  • General knowledge of engineering process related to WBS, Path of Construction Development, Constructability, and CWP development.
  • General knowledge of materials management systems and procedures.
  • Fluent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience
