Location: Asheville, NC (hybrid work schedule!)
Industry: civil engineering
Status of Hire: direct placement, permanent
Pay: $85k-$120k + (depending upon years of experience) and bonus potential!

Summary:
TRS Staffing Solutions is looking for a Licensed Engineer with 4-10 years’ experience in civil engineering for private sector commercial and/or residential projects. Candidate must have extensive experience with Autocad, Civil 3D or Carlson Civil. Design experience with grading, stormwater, erosion control, public water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems is a huge advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Produce complete sets of plans, specs for medium-sized residential multi-family, or commercial development projects.
• The amount of design/production will be dependent upon experience.
• More experienced candidates will be expected to juggle and review more projects and focus less on design work.
• Become familiar with the company’s internal engineering plan process and local regulatory permitting requirements.
• Collaborate with other team engineering professionals to complete projects and meet deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university
• E.I.T./E.I. or P.E. license strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Carlson Civil.
• 3+ years’ experience in civil design (grading, stormwater, erosion control, public water distribution, sanitary sewer collection systems, etc.)
• Some client communications and project management/project engineering experience required.
