Job Summary and Duties / Rail Car Billing Coordinator:
Experience is not required. Ideal candidate will have experience in the railcar industry.
Duties are not limited to the following.
Tracks and reconciles railcar repair billing, documents, and invoicing.
Key in BRC's (Billing Repair Cards) for specific railcar repairs and/or cleaning.
Submits BRC's through electronic approval process (Various software).
Perform quality checks on billing and BRC's for accuracy.
Assists with accounts receivable issues related to railcar repairs and/or cleaning billing.
Assists with tracking, monitor, and reconcile consignment inventory.
Additional duties may be required of the position.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
18 years of age or older.
Stable work history.
Speak fluent English.
High School Diploma or equivalent .
One to three years' work related experience
Reliable Transportation.
Valid Driver's License
Willing to submit to a pre-employment, criminal, and driving background review.
Pre-employment physical and drug testing is required.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: (Preferred but not required)
Have basic knowledge of AAR 500 byte Job Coding & Qualifiers.
Have basic knowledge of AAR regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Have basic knowledge of office administration and procedures.
Ability to operate Windows platform computers.
Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word, & Outlook and other related software.
Ability to build trust and have strong verbal and written communication with all levels,
both inside and outside the organization.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to be adaptable and work independently with a high degree of integrity.
Have basic knowledge of quality assurance and compliance programs.
Familiar with Sustainability programs such as Ecovadis
Experience with Six Sigma & Lean Principles
