Job Title: Site Designer

Summary:
Seeking a commercial site designer for an engineering firm in Greenville, South Carolina. This position is perfect for those looking to grow their skillset and expertise in land development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design developing and new commercial projects throughout the United States for both small business as well as large chains.
• Monitor projects throughout their development.
• Visit project sites at least twice throughout their life-cycle.
• Assist in other areas occasionally as needed.
• Support the team to ensure company goals are met.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• 4-year degree in civil engineering, landscape architecture, or related
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial site development preferred
o Recent college/university graduates without practical experience but with the appropriate degree/field of study will also be considered
• Must be capable of calculating/designing layout, grading, drainage, stormwater design, utilities, erosion control, etc.
• Must be able to and have knowledge of researching agency requirements
• Must have strong communication and customer service skills. Must be able to effectively speak with reviewers, colleagues, clients, etc.
• Should have a hands-on mentality and strong interest specifically in site design and land development.
