Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with project managers and engineers.
  • Conduct periodic audits of financial transactions and documents.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.
  • Assist with tax filings, regulatory reporting, and liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Provide financial support for engineering projects, including cost tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an engineering or project-based environment.
