For our client's project in The Netherlands we are seeking a highly experienced Area Quality Manager to lead Quality oversight for the Central Utility Building (CUB), Tank Farm, and Site Works on a major pharmaceutical construction project. This role ensures all utility, infrastructure, and site construction activities comply with GMP‑impacted requirements, regulatory standards, and the project’s Quality program.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead all Quality activities for the CUB, Tank Farm, and site infrastructure areas
  • Implement Quality Plans, ITPs, and relevant construction/GMP requirements
  • Oversee inspections and testing across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and utility systems
  • Manage NCRs, deviations, punch lists, and area Quality reporting
  • Ensure complete, compliant, and audit‑ready Quality documentation
  • Support turnover and interface with commissioning and CQV teams
  • Act as the primary Quality contact for client teams, contractors, and discipline leads


Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical field
  • 15+ years industrial QA/QC experience, including large‑scale utility or site works
  • Previous Site Quality Manager experience required
  • Strong background in CSA, M&P, or E&I disciplines
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other GMP‑regulated environments
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
