Automation Engineer

Industrial Automation Engineer (Designer) for a Tank Terminal project.

you will be responsible for industrial automation hardware and/or software functional requirements specifications (writing, reviewing, auditing), functional design specification (writing, reviewing, auditing), designing
and/or programming (technical and visual aspects), test plans (writing, reviewing, auditing), testing (reporting).

Needed experience:
- Control / Safety and Automation Engineer with experience in the Energy Sector
- PLC and HMI Systems / Software Designer (Based on SIMATIC products)
- Generating Industrial Software instead of configuring or programming (bulk engineering)
- Simulation and testing experience of industrial automation projects.

Needed requirements/knowledge:
- Relevant Bachelor degree (Electro and or Technical information science).
- At least 3-5 years’ experience as Automation Engineer (preferred PCS7 designer).
- Being able to write specifications, system / user manuals in English
- SIMATIC PCS7 in depth designer experience
- Tank/bulk management (for instance SIMATIC PCS7 Batch)
- Route control (for instance SIMATIC PCS7 Route Control)
- Database design / oriented tooling
- IT Security, System hardening, PC Hardware, IT networks
- Virtualization technology, like VMware
- COMOS platform, especially COMOS Automation
- Communication Protocols, like Ethernet (ISO, TCP/IP), Profibus, OPC, Modbus (RS-232/485)
