For our client we are currently in need of an experienced Contracts Manager or Senior Contracts Engineer who is required for a large-scale industrial construction project, focused on renewable fuels. The role involves managing the commercial and contractual aspects of a mechanical/piping work package within a complex engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) environment. The position is site-based and demands strong coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage contracts related to mechanical and piping scopes.
- Conduct quantity surveying activities including cost estimation, valuations, and forecasting.
- Lead negotiations and manage claims, variations, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and support dispute resolution processes.
- Collaborate with project controls, procurement, and construction teams to align commercial strategies.
- Provide regular reporting on contract performance, risks, and opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry.
- Proven ability to manage mechanical/piping work packages on large industrial projects.
- Strong commercial understanding of EPC contract frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
