Responsibilities:
For those with experience and an interest in Talent Management, the Head of Talent Management provides an exciting opportunity to contribute your experience and passion to a growing business.
• As an integral part of the Human Resource team, this individual will lead
• Talent Management initiatives.
• This role will report into the Head of Human Resource (CHRO) based out of Delhi.
• The scope of responsibilities include, but is not limited to:increasing
• workforce capability, driving long term talent planning, organisation
• design, succession planning, providing change leadership for talent initiatives, and driving data-driven talent processes and process improvement.
• To create a performance oriented culture and ensure smooth facilitation of all Organizational Development, Capability enhancement, employee
• engagement, talent management and execution of all strategic initiatives.
• Talent Management:
• Build a strong internal & external Employer Brand
• Attract, hire, retain & develop best talent
• Develop and implement Talent Management plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives.
• Ensure talent readiness by creating mechanisms such as: Success profiles, Talent Assessment and Leadership Investment Planning based on the business needs.
• Collaborate with business and HR Business Partners to define and establish a long term strategic talent planning process and may include - identifying critical jobs, determining talent gaps, assessing internal as well as external availability and developing long term plans to bridge the gaps.
• Run need-based Talent Management projects across teams: driving and conducting needs analysis, creating and executing against Talent plans/roadmaps, and review & reporting of existing programs.
• Look at cross business themes and integrate into the talent management strategy.
• Create processes that enable identifying and surfacing top talent to HR BPs/ Business Leaders in deploying the right employee, to the right job at the right time.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify appropriate metrics to measure effectiveness of talent management initiatives.
• Design and implement programs with a desired impact. Recognize and adapt best practices as appropriate.
• Learning& Development:
• To design and develop a talent management system, to identify training needs so to prepare the training calendar according to business Requirement. Managing training programmes that are aligned with the organization goal.
• To create environment where employees advance their skills and knowledge.
• Partnering with internal and external stake holders for organizing learning programs including technical, behavioral and managerial skills training programs.
• Working closely with various leaders across the organization to have full understanding of their training requirements. Embracing different styles of training techniques.
• To take feedback on each training and ensure loop closure to further improve the training.
• Conduct training effectiveness evaluation exercise after the stipulated time and take course corrective measures basis findings
• OD Interventions:
• Execution of organization health survey.
• Conceptualization and development of behavioral & functional competencies.
• Ensuring the functioning of all SOP's and policies.
• Organizational culture development through employee engagement.
• To ensure effective organizational communication. Implementing & executing various group' schemes viz. suggestion, promotions and rewards& recognition.
• Performance Management:
• Ensure and conduct timely goal setting exercise and performance
reviews (mid-year & annual).
• Drive the performance calibration process for working with HR partners and the business.
• To do gap analysis of employee performances, to ensure and execute end to end Performance Management System.
• Impart training/briefing to all employees on Goal setting and overall PMS process.
• Create process improvement mechanisms including automation on some
of the existing processes/ tools to ensure standardization and consistency
as we scale.
• Any other related job as may be assigned from time to time.
Must have
• 10 – 15 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with leading organizational design efforts of at least 5 years of
• HR Project Management experience with experience in scoping, leading
• and delivering complex projects.
• The right candidate will have a track record of project management from conception and design through implementation, measurement and
• continuous improvement Knowledge of program management lifecycle and project management tools
• Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and interest in
• supporting a growing team.
• Ability to handle responsibilities independently, while exercising good judgment in problem solving and keeping team members adequately informed.
• Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to
• achieve results
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in time sensitive matters and organized to manage and track multiple priorities simultaneously grace under pressure and the ability to switch gears at a moments notice.
• Excellent written and verbal skills as well as prioritization and planning
• skills with strong attention to detail.
• To be successful, the person in this role will need to demonstrate analytical capabilities, a process improvement mentality and ability to influence others with data-driven recommendations.
• Confidence in dealing with senior level staff and ability to communicate
• in a crisp, concise and professional manner.
• The candidate should possess functional knowledge of core HR areas preferably with experience in Talent Management or as an HR Business Partner.
• The candidate should be self-driven
• A high level of integrity, judgment and discretion in handling confidential
• information, the professionalism in dealing with sensitive situations is
• important.
• The candidate must be skilled at anticipating problems, creating
• contingency plans, managing multiple priorities, problem solving and
Nice to have
• Skills to execute and supervise dealings in accordance to commissioning guidelines and deadlines.
• Good in planning strategies to achieve Pre-commissioning/Commissioning completion with available resources.
• Technology excellence in ammonia or urea or offsites/utilities (GTG/HP HRSG)
• Knowledge of Commissioning management soft tools
Education Details
Graduate with Master Degree/ MBA/ PGD in Human Resources discipline
Preferable : Additional Specialisation/ Certifications in area/s of Talent Management/ HRD OD
