Bid Manager, Vancouver

We have a New and Exciting Opportunity!
Our client, an International Industry leader in the General Contracting, Infrastructure sector is looking for a Bid Manager to join their team in Vancouver, BC. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to further progress their careers within the General Contracting industry, within Transportation, Roads, Bridges, Tunnels and Highways. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with general contractors with a focus on heavy civil work, experience within a joint venture work environment, and they must have strong working knowledge of contract management and bid proposal processes.

With over 10 years within the bid management process including estimating, planning, costing, engineering, scheduling, tender submission & bid negotiation, you will ensure the strategic development of tender submissions and preparation. While liaising with Contracts Managers and team members on the estimation of contracts and ensuring accurate pricing, optimizing pricing policies to optimize profitability and identify problems and solutions.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 + years in estimating or quantity surveying in civil engineering
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Understanding and exposure to full cycle tendering process in large civil contracts
• Bilingual in French or Spanish is an asset
