BMS Specialist

About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned BMS Specialist with extensive hands‑on experience in inspecting, commissioning and managing computer-based control systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on optimising energy efficiency and integrating building services into a central monitoring system.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Overseeing project teams and ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
• Technical Analysis: Performing technical analysis and calculations to support design decisions.
• Compliance: Ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Client Interaction: Meeting with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Site Visits: Conducting site visits to assess project progress and resolve any on-site issues.
• Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving technical problems during the design and construction phases.
• Quality Assurance: Implementing quality control measures to ensure the integrity of Building Management Systems.

Required Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors 
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job 
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines 
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
