Business Operations Manager

Here is an exciting opportunity to join an Environmental Consultancy located in Grande Prairie, BC as a Business Operations Manager! You would be at work within a company that operates in a culture of collaboration and participation. The successful candidate will be joining a fantastic team of talented professionals in a position that boasts longevity.

In this role, the qualified candidate will have a goal of diversifying the services of the Company in the Region of Grande Prairie. The position will also be responsible for allocating staff resources to support current and future services delivery, developing relationships with clients, and supporting the execution of business development plans.

Job Duties:
• Engage in client development opportunities within the greater Grande Prairie region;
• Boosting existing client relationships within the region with superior quality;
• Present portfolios and proposals to new and existing clients with technical support from the team;
• Actively gaining the latest insights within the industry and with competitors to leverage the companies competitive advantage;
• Works with HR and team to address organizational effectiveness and growth.

Qualifications:
• Must have a degree or diploma in an applicable field from an accredited institution;
• 15+ years of experience in areas of environmental consulting, operational management, collaboration and teamwork, and client development;
• Strong business acumen;
• Advanced knowledge in the execution of environmental assessment for upstream oil and gas;
• Experience with relevant provincial and federal legislation.
