" Our Glass & Aluminum manufacturing client is looking for a Can End Maker with Can end-making process experience for the bottles and cans packaging section, to join the team. In this position, you will ensure high-end quality production and products, through continuous evaluation and checks and monitoring of daily quality and improvement methods.”
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Conduct regular checks on spoilage to analyze and investigate.
• Ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with specifications.
• Liaise with QA staff on product quality and specs.
• Reject poor quality production and rectify cause.
• Evaluate raw material and reject if necessary.
• Adherence and improvements on HFI targets.
• Produce cans according to production plan / schedule.
• Monitor daily production against schedule.
• Effective utilization of machines according to standards.
• Drive line performance and reduce spoilage.
• Monitor and control consumables and production spares budget.
• Examine machine parts before replacing with new parts to reduce/ control costs.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12
• Qualified as Can Maker
• Can Making Trade Certificate
• Have technical knowledge and experience in Can production.
• Computer skills - Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Be able to work under pressure.
• Have the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Strong administration skills with attention to detail.
