Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of change events from Early Warnings to implementation.
- Chair and coordinate change boards, ensuring timely input from Contracts, Programme Controls, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain a central change log with accurate documentation and audit trails.
- Monitor and report on change status, risks, delays, and escalations.
- Ensure change processes align with contractual and governance requirements.
- Collaborate with commercial and controls teams to assess cost and schedule impacts.
- Support project teams in applying change procedures and contractual mechanisms.
- Drive continuous improvement in change management processes and tools.
- Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders on change performance metrics.
- Foster effective stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the change process.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 15+ years in contract management and administration, with at least 5 years in change management.
- Extensive experience in infrastructure or capital programmes.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts and change mechanisms.
- Proven ability to manage complex change processes and coordinate multidisciplinary inputs.
- Experience leading change boards or governance forums.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management.
- Professional membership with RICS or equivalent.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and change tracking/reporting tools.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with CEMAR and Unifier.
- Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
