(FPSO) – Equatorial Guinea

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a high-performing offshore team based in Equatorial Guinea. This role is ideal for a strong leader with extensive mechanical maintenance experience in the oil & gas industry and a proven track record working on FPSO assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of mechanical technicians, contractors, and specialists.

• Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures.

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance.

• Manage the maintenance and repair of critical rotating and static equipment.

• Support condition monitoring activities and fault diagnosis to maximise equipment reliability.

• Ensure compliance with permit-to-work (PTW), risk assessment, and safety management systems.

• Drive team performance, competency development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure work is completed to high technical standards.

• Contribute to emergency response activities and offshore safety programmes.

Requirements

• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred

• Minimum 5 years offshore experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role

• Previous FPSO experience is essential/desirable

Strong experience with:

• Oil pumps

• Gas compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal)

• Water injection pumps

• Power generation equipment

• Utility systems

• Rotating equipment and machinery maintenance

• Solid understanding of PTW systems and risk assessment methodologies

• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills

• Proficient in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Fluent English communication skills
