Chief Estimator

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting long-term opportunity for Chief Estimators to work for one of the leading construction companies in Canada. The work location is in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all business estimates creation and ensure correct project costs
• Responsible for team training, development activities, and management
• Participate in long-term strategic planning processes
• Responsible for overall HR and fiscal planning for assigned business units
• Develop and execute annual business plan
• Establish and implement short and long-term goals in accordance with company’s objectives
• Perform other duties as required

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of training, experience and education
• At least 15 years of direct experience in civil infrastructure or estimating role
• Experience dealing with variety of contracts including PPP projects
• Certification or P.Eng designation is an asset
