Job description:
- Lead and manage all civil construction activities related to the onshore substation, including site preparation, foundations, buildings, access roads, drainage, and utilities.
- Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and resource allocation in coordination with project management and engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality execution of works.
- Monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve technical or logistical issues as they arise.
- Review and approve civil engineering drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Manage construction budgets, track costs, and report on financial performance.
- Liaise with stakeholders including clients, consultants, local authorities, and utility providers.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
- Relevant Degree or certifications
- Relevant experience
