Job Title: Civil Project Engineer
Location: Hodges, SC/Greenwood, SC
Pay: $100-120k
Status of Hire: contract
Duration of Assignment: 2-year project

Summary:
The Project Engineer (Civil / Structural) will review and aid in the design and construction of capital projects. This individual will be involved in all phases of the project and be responsible for design of site plans, grading, utilities, permitting, construction, contractor management and commissioning.

Responsibilities
• The Project Engineer will review and aid site design plans for new facility
• Work in an integrated design & construction environment with senior engineers, designers, and builders
• Work in an integrated design & construction environment with engineers, designers, and builders
• Manage civil contractors for the duration of the project
• Ability to review / aid other engineering disciplines as necessary

Qualifications
• The Project Engineer will have a BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant work experience
• PE license a plus
• Experience preparing site development plans and obtaining associated permitting for large manufacturing, and/or commercial facilities
• GMP experience a plus
• Familiarity in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering
• Proficiency with using and reviewing CAD (2D and 3D)
• Ability to work closely with and other engineering disciplines, and construction professionals
• Requires professional communication and client relations skills
• Experience working on large greenfield projects.
• Contractor management experience
