Description
As the Client Representative on-site, on behalf of the client, you will hold overall responsibility for observing, monitoring and reporting on safe offshore operations for the removal of an out of service cable at the offshore wind farm.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe, timely execution of offshore work in line with project requirements, RAMS, and HSE plans.
- Monitor and report daily progress, verify vessel DPRs, and escalate issues to Offshore Site Management.
- Oversee contractor compliance with technical and operational standards, including cable clearance, seabed checks, and ICPC requirements.
- Participate in meetings, safety walks, SOC monitoring, and support HSE inspections, including incident information gathering.
- Support quality activities such as walkdowns, witnessing, progress checks, and non‑conformance identification in line with project quality plans.
Key Requirements:
- a minimum of 5-years experience of similar services in offshore renewable industry; working knowledge of offshore construction contracts with a good understanding of the contractual implications of breakdowns, delays, weather downtime etc.
- profound understanding of offshore operations, in particular the out of service cable removal and pre-lay grapnel run operations;
- understanding of subsea surveys desirable;
- the ability to read and understand technical documents and observe (offshore) operations and ensure these are carried out according to the requirements;
- knowledge about industry standards and regulations, including but not limited to International Maritime Organization (IMO) & IMCA guidelines and ICPC Recommendation No. 1
- excellent communication skills
- fluent in spoken and written English
Qualifications

- Fire Awareness
- Manual Handling
- Current valid medical certificate and exams for offshore work
