FUNCTION: COMMISSIONING, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANAGER

"TRS has an exciting opportunity for a COMMISSIONING, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANAGER who will be responsible for writing project commissioning plans that detail the project's scope, task schedules and key documents, to join our international client's team on BONNY PROJECT (ONSHORE) based in NIGERIA.”
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Commissioning new project stages.
- Updating internal stakeholders about current progress and changes to project delivery schedules.
- Organizing progress reviews at the end of each project stage.
- Analyzing project processes to identify cost savings.
- Ensuring that colleagues and suppliers comply with legal obligations.
- Reviewing the project's success post-execution.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Tertiary Qualification. Should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 30 Years in the Oil & Gas Industry with a minimum of 20 Years experience on LNG Technologies.
- Minimum of 15 Years experience as Commissioning Manager and at least 5 Project Experiences.
- Advanced level of speaking & writing: English.
Technical skills:
- Work in Task Force coordinating with the project team, the different companies of the JVs and the Client.
- Technical knowledge of LNG Plant start-up preparation, start-up, and operation activities.
- Knowledge of internal engineering systems and tools.
- Understanding of Flow Measurement, Engineering practices, design methods & calculations.
- Knowledge of PC, Windows, Office Software, and IT implementation background.
- Acquire Oil and Gas Industry Safety Standards and requirements.
- Capable to Read, interpret & prepare applicable technical information.
Proven technical knowledge with the sequences and activities of preparation for commissioning, start-up, and operation of the following Units:
- Inlet Facilities and Gas Treatment Units.
- Condensate Handling/Stabilization Unit.
- Liquefication Unit licensed by APCI (PR/MR configuration).
- AGRU licensed by TOTAL.
- Gas Dehydration and MRU Section.
- Offsite and Utilities section including Power Generation Unit.
- LNG Plant's Auxiliary Systems (Instrument Air, Nitrogen, Water Treatment, Potable & Demi Water, Flare, Fuel Gas, Fuel Oil, etc.)
