"TRS has an urgently opportunity for a Constructability Engineer with LNG Liquefaction Plant, modular fabrication and construction experience to join our leading international Client's project team based in the Milan, Italy."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• The greatest level of ease with which a building’s design will allow for construction while still meeting construction codes.
• Team integration of construction knowledge during the design phase to determine the most efficient means to construct while still achieving design goals.
• Team integration of construction knowledge during building to ensure that the lowest level of environmental impact occurs during construction.
• Supports the Design Manager and OAR during the preconstruction phase in the following efforts:
o Assists in defining and reviewing the Project Requirement Document scope of work and schedule including phasing and interim housing requirements.
o Makes value engineering recommendations at the outset of the design.
o Comments on the design professional’s deliverable identifying major errors and omissions in the progress plans.
o Ensures that the most efficient and cost effective construction means and methods are incorporated into the design.
o Prepares comprehensive constructability review of the 100% construction documents.
o Additionally, the Constructability Engineer shall coordinate the above efforts with the Design Manager and the OAR in a collaborative way.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited BSc. Engineering Degree / Diploma in Construction Technology.
• Minimum 8 years’ proven work experience in construction engineering within Oil & Gas Industry.
• Experience in modular fabrication and construction is preferred.
• Experience in engineering design for manufacturing, lean principles and project management, module fabrication and sail-away of process modules.
• Fabrication yard activities.
