"TRS has an urgent requirement for an Offshore Construction Lead with valid BOSIET to join our client’s FPSO project team based in EQUATORIAL GUINEA.”
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plan, lead, and manage site resources internally and externally to execute day to day construction activities and to assure the continuous productivity with the optimize manhours.
• Lead the review and improvement of construction work process/installation sequences, introduce new methods/technologies and leverage lessons learned from projects with the view of constructability.
• Reduce costs, shorten project delivery time.
• Provide expertise on discipline-specific technical problems, and gatekeeper of approval and issuance of construction deliverables.
• Deliver high quality outcome confirming with requirements, minimize construction reworks and maintain cost sustainability during construction.
• Comply and implement HSEQ Policy and requirements to the construction activities within discipline scope and authority. To ensure zero incident on spec delivery.
• Coordinate and chair internal/external meetings to resolve daily issues via alignment of all stakeholders of the project, and avoidance of technical/contractual/regulatory issues that will impede project progress.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Shipbuilding or Certified Professional Engineer
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as Construction Manager / Lead role in FPSO projects
• Valid BOSIET (Non-Negotiable).
• Recent Offshore, Oil and Gas Industry experience.
• Familiar with and ability to respond/escape emergencies on offshore facilities and water entry/survival.
