With a strong legacy under the Jakson Group, the client has delivered high‑impact projects across Power Transmission, Power Distribution, Metro Electrification, Water Infrastructure, and Civil Infrastructure. Known for engineering excellence and a commitment to nation‑building, the client executes complex infrastructure developments for government, private, and international clients. Their marquee work includes projects under Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL), the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), and major Metro Electrification projects in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
Job Description:
The Construction Manager – E&M will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and monitoring of Electrical & Mechanical works for Metro Rail Projects. The role involves managing site activities, contractors, safety compliance, quality control, and ensuring timely project delivery as per approved drawings and specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 15–20 years of experience in E&M works.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Metro / Railway / Large Infrastructure Projects preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee execution of all E&M works including:
- Electrical systems (HT/LT, Substations, Cable Laying)
- HVAC systems
- Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm Systems
- Plumbing & Drainage
- Lifts & Escalators
- SCADA and auxiliary systems
- Method statements
- Shop drawings
- Material submittals
- Work schedules
- Civil, Signaling & Telecom teams
- Consultants and Clients
- Vendors and subcontractors
- Project specifications
- Safety standards
- Quality norms
- Local statutory regulations
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly progress reports
- Resource planning reports
- Risk assessment and mitigation plans
- Manage subcontractors and ensure work is completed within timeline and budget.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Support testing & commissioning activities.
- Ensure zero safety violations and maintain proper documentation
