Key Responsibilities
- Direct, monitor and coordinate on-site construction activities for large-scale solar projects.
- Lead HSE efforts, including implementation of safety plans, conducting audits, and managing incident response.
- Serve as the primary liaison between field teams, contractors, and project management.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and cost performance; provide regular reporting.
- Ensure compliance with environmental permits and local/state/federal regulations.
- Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment staging, and workforce coordination.
- Support commissioning and turnover activities, ensuring readiness for operations.
- Maintain detailed records of site activities, safety metrics, and change orders.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in utility-scale solar or renewable energy construction is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in field execution and contractor management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, environmental compliance, and solar construction best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel and maintain a strong on-site presence during active construction phases.
