Construction Manager (Infrastructure)

Job Title: Infrastructure Construction Manager
Location: Augusta, GA 30906
Industry: complex processes (industrial metals refining, processing)
Status of Hire: full-time, direct hire
Pay: $175-200k base plus up to 15% annual bonus potential
Reports to: Construction Director
Key Interfaces: the General Contractor, the building design contractor, internal project teams (engineering, PMO, commissioning & start-up, risk & safety, procurement, financial control)

Objective:
As the Infrastructure Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the job site related to infrastructure construction during the construction & start-up phases. You will be responsible for supporting the Construction Director in providing input to the project team on required costs and services, execution methodology, schedule, risks, & strategy during project development & estimation. You will maintain relationships with project personnel & interface with the construction team to ensure alignment with internal quality & safety standards during infrastructure construction.

Responsibilities:
Infrastructure construction supervision:
Provide leadership direction for infrastructure construction, including the management of quality, timeliness, safety, as well as mentoring project team members
Responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering site infrastructure construction contractors and supporting activities, including planning, sequencing, commissioning, & start-up
Maintain responsibility for execution of infrastructure construction, ensuring that it is delivered within contract requirements, internal standards of quality, safety, & performance expectations, and local regulations.
Proactively support identification & mitigation of risks to schedule and budget, resolve problems, and coordinate turnover to operations
