In this role, you will be responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of the project, ensuring that contractual entitlements are secured, risks are properly managed, and opportunities are identified in a timely manner. You will work closely with the project management and site teams to support contract administration, claims, and change management activities throughout the execution phase.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and safeguarding contractual and commercial entitlements, while defending the project against contractual and commercial risks
- Acting as a key interface with the project and site teams to identify, analyze, and manage contract, claim, and change-related issues
- Drafting, reviewing, and issuing contractual correspondence, notices, and commercial communications
- Performing contractual reviews and providing detailed analysis of claims and change events
- Assessing contractual risks and opportunities and advising the project team accordingly
- Preparing, substantiating, and managing claims and changes, including pricing, entitlement statements, and schedule impacts
- Ensuring that appropriate contract and claims management procedures, processes, and systems are in place and correctly applied
- Managing and maintaining accurate records related to time, cost, progress, and contractual compliance
- Providing contractual and commercial advice on complex or potentially contentious issues, including support during dispute resolution if required
- Raising contractual and claims management awareness within the project team through training sessions and workshops
The role is primarily office-based with regular on-site presence during standard working hours. You will use Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Office for documentation, reporting, and communication. All activities must be performed in compliance with the Client’s procedures, safety regulations, IT policies, and strict confidentiality requirements.
This position is ideal for a proactive professional with strong analytical skills, solid contractual knowledge, and the ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary project environment.
