FUNCTION: CONTRACTS MANAGER, GPC
DISCIPLINE: CONTRACTS & PROCUREMENT
LOCATION: KWAZULU-NATAL
DURATION: CONTRACT (24 MONTHS)
SALARY: MARKET RELATED

"Our client specializing in EPCm & Infrastructure Projects is seeking a CONTRACTS MANAGER, GPC to join their project team based in KWAZULU-NATAL."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing contract administration for various engineering projects.
  • Deep understanding of contract management, negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts for engineering projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and negotiation to execution and closeout.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract documentation and correspondence.
  • Risk Management.
  • Negotiation and Communication.
  • Financial Oversight.
  • Project Support.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
  • B.Eng. / B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering. ECSA Professional Registration is a must, SACPCMP is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in contract management or engineering project management.
  • Proven experience with contract negotiation, administration, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and contract management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience in dealing with SANRAL is a must.
