"Our client specializing in EPCm & Infrastructure Projects is seeking a CONTRACTS MANAGER, GPC to join their project team based in KWAZULU-NATAL."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for managing and overseeing contract administration for various engineering projects.
- Deep understanding of contract management, negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts for engineering projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and negotiation to execution and closeout.
- Maintain accurate records of contract documentation and correspondence.
- Risk Management.
- Negotiation and Communication.
- Financial Oversight.
- Project Support.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
- B.Eng. / B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering. ECSA Professional Registration is a must, SACPCMP is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in contract management or engineering project management.
- Proven experience with contract negotiation, administration, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of contract law and contract management principles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience in dealing with SANRAL is a must.
