About the role
TRS Staffing is seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to join our client's Adelaide-based team, supporting the delivery of a major EPCM project. Working with a globally recognised Tier 1 EPCM organisation, you will play a pivotal role in managing contracts, supporting procurement activities, leading commercial negotiations, and mitigating project risks across a portfolio of project scopes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing project team where you will collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and project delivery stakeholders. Duties and responsibilities
- Lead hands‑on delivery of medium to large contracts and project packages
- Prepare, write, and review contractual and commercial documentation
- Manage tender and bid processes from start to finish
- Work closely with Engineers and Project teams to prepare accurate documentation
- Develop and implement contract and negotiation strategies
- Manage budgets, variations, claims, and contract risk directly
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements
- Support client engagement and commercial negotiations as required
- 10 - 20 years’ experience managing contracts on large EPC or infrastructure projects
- Strong ability to write clear, structured commercial and contractual documents
- Proven experience managing tenders, bids, and proposals
- Solid understanding of commercial, legal, and compliance requirements
- Experience working closely with engineering and delivery teams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Degree Qualified - Business/Engineering or Law (desirable)
