"Our international client is seeking a CRANE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR who will instruct, direct, and supervise maintenance, repair and overall activities of multi-brand lifting equipment for the AMBRIZ Project based in ANGOLA."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Instructs, directs, and supervises the activities of inspection, troubleshooting, repair and overall, of mobile, crawler, tower and overhead cranes, such as Liebherr, Manitowoc, Kobelco, Locatelli, Terex, Grove, etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling skills in multi-brand lifting equipment.
- Diagnose problems by inspecting the lifting equipment.
- Good knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic system.
- Basic knowledge of electrical system.
- Estimate the cost of repairs, order parts, and track crane maintenance by writing technical reports.
- Provides servicing and repairing report.
- Read and understand operating manuals, and technical drawings.
- Liaise with crane manufacturers on problems in order to achieve an efficient repair.
- Meet all company safety standard.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Mechanical degree level or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience.
- A good understanding of property maintenance, methodologies, and processes.
- A good communicator, with a track record of well-organized methodical work patterns.
- Able to work autonomously and react quickly in high pressured situations.
