Purpose of Job:
• Determine and maintain acceptable customer credit risk.
• Evaluate new and existing customer’s financial status and credit worthiness.
• Coordinate with Customer’s financial contacts and/or financial institutions to establish and maintain proper payments mechanisms to minimize NAO’s credit risk
Key Accountabilities:
• Responsible for determining and maintaining acceptable credit risk for all assigned NA customers.
• Approve credit lines within assigned limits by analyzing financial and credit information.
• Analysis includes review of financial statements for assessment of key credit risk indicators, in addition to using other published information and/or industry contacts and information to ascertain the financial health of potential and current customers.
• If assigned international customers, perform country analyses for export sales by reviewing macroeconomic information to stay up to date on current political, social, and economic developments.
• Maximize cash flow through timely collection of accounts receivable.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, banks, and credit orgs in order to continually improve cash flow
• Provide analytical support relative to Accounts Receivable and Customer Credit information for Business/Marketing and Finance, in addition to audit support for internal and external audits.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Business / Finance related Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience, B2B credit & collections experience and/or cash applications experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal & analytical skills.
• Financial and credit analytical skills.
• Prioritizing and decision-making abilities.
• Systems / Software: SAP preferred, Excel, Word & Outlook
