CSA Engineer

For our client, active in sustainable energy, we are looking for a CSA Engineer (The Hague Area).

As a Civil Structural & Architectural Engineer you are responsible for engineering and design, for green field petrochemical, oil & gas and industrial projects. Your activities comprise of executing and/or reviewing of conceptual studies, basic engineering, Front End Engineering & Design, preparing project specifications, civil work packages, cost estimation, authority coordination, document review, underground and detailed design review.
In addition, you are responsible for regular contact with Authorities, Engineering Sub-Contractors, Geotechnical consultant, Vendors, construction contractors and Owner representatives, consultants and specialists. In addition you will be responsible for guidance regarding CSA design, engineering, and construction activities.
This role should handle all Civil & Structural related activities associated with the different phases of the projects.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare Conceptual Design for Civil & Structural aspects,
• Front-End Engineering & Design,
• Basic, FEED & Detailed Engineering,
• Review Scope of Work for Geotechnical/Civil/Structural contractors,
• Planning, supervision and coordination between engineering team, contractor & vendors,
• Authority coordination.
• Review man-hour estimates, manpower forecasts and schedule for the project.
• Review requisitions, enquiry, material take-off and cost estimate for CSA items,
• Review FEED/ Detail engineering deliverables for CSA discipline
• Inter-disciplinary interaction and cooperation,
• Participate in project 3D model reviews,
• Be able to travel internationally and perform site visits as required,
• Technical document review and quality assurance,

Requested:
• Minimum Bachelor Civil or Structural Engineering,
• Between 5 and 15 years’ experience in relevant oil & gas or petrochemical projects,
• Excellent technical knowledge of Civil, Structural & Architectural engineering,
• Be able to perform and review steel/concrete structure and foundation calculations
• Good knowledge of 3D model review software (Smart Plant Review, Navis, or equivalent),
• Practical field construction experience, VCA-VOL certification required,
• Experience working with Eurocode codes as well as Dutch national annexes (NEN EN),
• Adhere to Safety & health measurements & quality management system at all time,
• Willingness to travel and work abroad for longer periods
• Must be authorized to work in Europe.
• Fluent in English. Dutch language skills is also preferred.
