Pay: $120-150k base plus up to 10% annual bonus (depending on experience)

Overall Objective:
As the CSA Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading the civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) engineering elements of the project, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with other departments, including construction, procurement, and project management, to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Responsibilities:
Project scope and specifications: ensure development of clear CSA engineering objectives, project scope, and design specifications for the design & engineering firms or contractors to meet the project’s business needs
Design review and approval: supervise design/engineering firm in (basic and detailed) planning of infrastructure measures
Ensure CSA design reviews and approvals are completed in accordance with schedule, budget, and internal quality standards
Prepare reports on CSA design progress and quality assurance for strategic review and decision-making, including proactive risk identification and impacts on schedule/costs
Work closely with the Engineering & Construction Director and engineering leads in other disciplines to constantly move the project forward
Interface management: develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including other project functions, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies, and work with suppliers to identify the best possible construction solution for the project
Work closely with construction team to ensure that CSA designs are feasible and can be constructed safely and efficiently.
