Responsibilities Include:
• Provide support to operations (Anderson and HQ) through information analysis (actual performance vs budget and prior year)
• Identification of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements
• Responsible for annual budget process, forecasting and analysis of operations performance
• Responsible for monthly and year end closing, preparation of financial statements, and ensuring that bookkeeping fulfills legal requirements
• Monitoring and interpreting financial information, cash flow, and predicting future trends
• Responsibility for the adherence to corporate finance policies (General Financial Policy, Bank Policy, Cash Management Policy, Liquidity Management Policy, Risk Management Policy).
• Preparing analysis of turnover, material costs and operational expenses on a monthly basis against prior year and budget.
• Preparing annual plan and short term forecast.
• Formulating strategic and long-term business plan in cooperation with Vice President Sales and Vice President Operations.
• Identifying, investigating and analyzing operational improvements.
• Responsibility for financial accounting (a/p, a/r, payroll accounting, inventory)
• In the event of discovering a deviation from specification, the employee has the authority to escalate the issue through the notification procedure, up to and including stopping production and activating the emergency action plan, if applicable.
Requirements Include:
• 5+ Years of senior-level Finance experience within automotive manufacturing
• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in related field required
• Strong working knowledge of German business culture
• The willingness and ability to travel internationally, by car or by plane
