Director, Operations SCM

The Opportunity Our client, an industry leader in the mining industry is looking for a Director, Operations to join their Supply Chain team. Responsibilities • Design and oversee strategic business plan for supply chain; cost effectiveness and budget • Ensure sustainability of policies, procedures and compliance • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including JV partners. • Ability to work with all business units; communication, customer focused, cross- functional and with value to ensure corporate culture is continuous. • Ability to seek improvement of processes and systems without disrupting internal resources; best practices, business analytics and performance management Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree is required with preference to Supply Chain or Logistics • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role • Previous experience in the mining industry is preferred We thank all applicants for their interest; however only those who work in Canada will be considered for this position and only those selected for interviews will be contacted.
