Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement dredging project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor daily dredging operations to achieve production targets and maintain efficiency.
- Supervise and manage offshore dredging crews, ensuring proper training and adherence to operational procedures.
- Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and maintenance teams for seamless project execution.
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement among team members.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of dredging vessels, pumps, and related equipment.
- Optimize equipment utilization and manage spare parts inventory.
- Track project expenses and implement measures to reduce operational costs without compromising quality.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Liaise with port authorities, regulatory bodies, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Address client requirements and resolve operational challenges promptly.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions for dredging operations.
- Ensure continuous compliance with industry standards and technological advancements.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Master of Engineering in Dredging, civil, mechanical or equivalent
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a similar role with Dredging & Reclamation projects on capital dredging, not limited to maintenance dredging field, operational and project management experience in marine construction and the dredging industry.
