We are looking for a forward-thinking Dredging R&D Manager to lead research and development efforts that advance dredging technologies and processes. Based in Abu Dhabi, this role will focus on driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and promoting sustainable practices in offshore projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of advanced dredging technologies and methodologies to improve operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Oversee design, modeling, and simulation of dredging systems and processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations for new dredging techniques and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and environmental regulations in all R&D activities.
- Plan and manage R&D projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to align research outcomes with operational needs.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervise prototype development and field trials for new dredging technologies.
- Work closely with academic institutions, technology partners, and industry experts to foster innovation.
- Monitor industry advancements and benchmark best practices for dredging operations.
- Implement strategies to reduce environmental impact and enhance operational sustainability.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent may be advantageous.
- Minimum 12 years' experience in R&D related industries, relevant industry experience will be an advantage.
