Drilling Engineer

The qualified individual for this position should have the desire and skillset to perform drilling engineering functions using unique analysis and solution. The Drilling Engineer should have proficiency in advanced data analysis as well as performance analysis of new and existing drilling techniques.

Job Duties:

• Preparation and implementation of drilling subjects reports and studies, using statistic data, cost data and economic analysis to provide recommendations and alternate proposals to management and operating groups
• Provide technical support for complex and a variety of different types of drilling wells – including exploration wells, power water injection and producing wells
• Implementing drilling engineering methods and procedures on assigned problems
• Assisting in the training and development of new drilling personnel and engineers

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
• Ability to apply unique solutions and approaches to drilling engineering practices and problems
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience as an established senior drilling engineer
• Experience with implementation and development of petroleum engineering studies
