Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join our client's team for a leading client in the metals and mining sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in E&I systems design, installation, and maintenance, with proven expertise in industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical and instrumentation systems for metals and mining projects.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for E&I systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshooting, and commissioning of E&I equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate E&I systems into overall project plans.
• Manage vendors and contractors for procurement and installation activities.
• Provide technical support during project execution and resolve E&I-related issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in E&I engineering within metals and mining projects.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, instrumentation standards, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in engineering software tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in greenfield/brownfield mining projects.
• Knowledge of international standards (IEC, IEEE, ISA).
