We are seeking a detail-oriented ED & B-BBEE Analyst to support Economic Development and Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment compliance initiatives across our renewable energy projects. This role is located in Johannesburg.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the compilation and submission of REIPPPP Economic Development reports.
- Review and validate contractor and supplier ED reports and supporting documentation.
- Monitor and track Socio-Economic Development, Skills Development, and Enterprise Development spend.
- Coordinate annual ED audits and B-BBEE verification processes.
- Maintain accurate records, certificates, declarations, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are met.
- Assist with B-BBEE transformation initiatives and compliance activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support, including supplier registrations, purchase orders, invoicing, and document management.
- Support ad-hoc departmental projects and activities.
Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
- Relevant degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Development Studies, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years' experience in Economic Development reporting, B-BBEE compliance, ESG, transformation, or a related role.
- Understanding of B-BBEE legislation and verification processes.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and administrative skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
