Our client is seeking an Electrical Area Lead Engineer. The role is based in Hampshire, UK, on a hybrid basis and 9-day fortnight.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers
- Develop and manage Electrical Requisition Packages (ERPs) including creation of detailed Request for Quotations (RFQs), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs), and post-order vendor document management.
- Design and document electrical control systems, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and standards.
- Interface and collaborate with the electrical design team to ensure seamless integration of controls and automation systems.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Manage project risks and issues, providing timely communication and solutions to management.
- Participate in technical reviews
