TRS Staffing Solutions is currently seeking experienced Electrical Designers for one of our clients based in Vancouver, BC. Our client is a multinational EPCM company global presence. A great opportunity for those who want to be a part of exciting projects and amazing team.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Prepare layouts and conceptual designs for complex problems
- Prepare design drawings
- Interface with other design disciplines
- Become proficient in 2D and 3D CAD capabilities, as required
- Perform electrical calculations
- Review vendor drawings and update our designs accordingly
- Assist the Design Supervisor, as required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Two-year technical diploma required
- Five to fifteen years of experience in a heavy industrial electrical design office with knowledge of S3D/Microstation
- Able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrate increasing levels of responsibility in their career and have a proven track record of having led design teams in the EPCM environment
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance
