We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of electrical systems on a major hyperscale data centre project in Kouvola. This is a client-facing role within a multidisciplinary PMC team, responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems—including HV and LV distribution, UPS, generators, lighting, power distribution, and critical systems—are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned to meet the client’s performance, reliability, and safety standards.
- Initial 12 month fixed term contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical systems delivery across all project phases: design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Coordinate with other technical disciplines to ensure programme alignment and seamless integration.
- Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintain clear communication with the client and stakeholders, resolving issues and providing regular updates.
- Support the development and implementation of testing and commissioning strategies.
- Ensure all electrical systems meet operational and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing electrical systems on large-scale construction or data centre projects.
- Strong understanding of HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and critical systems.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluent in English; Finnish language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to be based in Kouvola for the duration of the project.
- Relevant Degree or certifications
