Fluor Corporation has established a Technology Hub in Copenhagen to service the Nordic countries. Our office in Portland Towers is brand new and we are hiring some of the brightest professionals who take pride in delivering top-notch services and solutions to our clients. The position is newly established and reports directly to the Director of the Nordic Technology Hub. The purpose of this position is to provide technical knowledge, and direction as listed below. The Engineering Manager has oversight of a specific area and acts as a representative of the department ensuring technical accuracy in project execution in all phases. This role has the responsibility to promote Fluor’s competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence. This role leads the engineering effort on assigned projects and is responsible for coordinating the individual Engineering Discipline Leads.
- Direct and manage the interface between Engineering and the other disciplines on the project including Process Engineering, Project Controls, Project Management, Procurement and Contracts, Construction, and the client team
- Act as a leader in applying Cost Competitive Execution techniques and develop the most cost- effective total project solution
- Work with Discipline Leads and Engineering Department Managers to ensure that staffing levels are appropriate to achieve the engineering schedule commitments and personnel are assigned with appropriate ability

To Be Considered Candidates
Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
Basic Job Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree within engineering or another relevant field
- You have approximately 10 years of experience as Engineering/Project Manager and/or Project Lead
- You have advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials
- You have worked with EPCM projects in the Life Science industry
- You are fluent in both Danish and English languages as we work with both local and international clients
- You possess good listening skills and able to put yourself in the shoes of our clients, vendors, and other collaboration partners to understand their needs
- You are a strong communicator which enables you to get your messages across effectively
- Finally, you enjoy working in an international environment with colleagues from around the world
